About Cara
Cara delivered the biggest swing of Pittsford Sutherland's 2026 postseason: a two-out, three-run home run that broke a scoreless tie and lifted the Knights past Eastridge 5-2 for the Section V Class AA2 championship. She also homered in the 13-1 semifinal rout of Pittsford Mendon, and earlier in the season hit two home runs in a single game. She has led Sutherland in home runs two straight years and finished second in the region last year, and was voted a News 8 WROC athlete of the week by area readers.
A multi-sport athlete with elite speed and competitive fire, Cara is also a varsity ski racer — a 4x sectional champion who placed 5th overall at the 2026 Section V Championships. She brings that same explosiveness to the outfield, with exceptional range and the versatility to contribute in the infield.
